Jul Sat 12th Flyout Longside Longside (Peterhead)

Be assured of a warm welcome at this friendliest of airfields.

Sat 26th Fly-out Inverness Highland Air Museum (Inverness) / Dornoch LAA Fly-in

An easy fly-out with a visit to the museum (www.highlandaviationmuseum.co.uk). Monster spotting on return leg optional. The Highland Strut are holding their fly-in at Dornoch the same weekend so why not combine the two?

Aug Sat 9th flyout Newtonards Newtonards

Sat 23rd Fly-out RAF Boulmer/Reiver's Rally

A round trip (hopefully) following the footsteps (well, sort of) of the Border Reivers. Depending on the weather we hope to visit airfields including Eshott, Carlisle and or Kirkbride. The Air-Sea rescue station at RAF Boulmer have offered us the chance of a visit to see operations. This will involve a bus transfer to/from Eshott (as we can't land at Boulmer) for which there may be a small charge. If you wish to participate in this fly-out, please let Ian Ferguson (ian.ferguson@cis.strath.ac.uk) know your name, aircraft registration and PoB ASAP.

flight sharing scheme

We are also trying to put together a pilot "seat sharing scheme" whereby spare seats are offered and pilots group together to hire aircraft and share costs. If you have a seat to offer, or are looking for one, please make your offer/request on appropriate section of the event forum (just follow the links in the table above!) Remember that if you are offered a seat it is only polite to offer to pay for your share of the flight.

These events are arranged by Scottish Aero Club Ltd members on a voluntary basis. It is accepted by those who participate that nothing undertaken by the Scottish Aero Club Ltd collectively or members individually shall be construed as establishing a duty of care nor in any way removing or modifying the duties, responsibilities or obligations of pilots in relation to these events and attandance thereat.
