The Annual Fly-In will now be held on the weekend of 20th & 21st September following the disappointment of the cancellation of our August date.  We are also delighted that this will coincide with the AST Open Day and the arrival in Perth of the Goodwood Spitfire!  

As a rough guide to the weekend:

Friday 20th September

Members, family and friends are invited to join us for a relaxed evening welcoming early flying visitors.  We will be setting up from 2pm and plan to drive to Scone around 5pm to collect Fish & Chips or Chinese take-away for those who wish to eat.  The Licensed Bar will be open for non-drivers.

Saturday 21st September

• Arrivals from 9 am – Fly-In or Drive-In.
• BBQ from noon to 3 pm which may be extended if required.
• Licensed Bar open from noon until late-night.  Local cask beer on tap, bottles also available, red and white wine plus soft drinks.
• GasCo “Find the Faults” aircraft check competition to test your pre-flight checking skills.
• Prize-Giving – Best turned out visiting aircraft and furthest distance travelled – approx, 6 pm.
• Stovies or Macaroni Cheese for Vegetarians
• An evening of conversation, background music, as late an evening fly as the light will permit and a pie & pea supper!
