D-Day 80 - Adventures in a 1943 Piper L4 Cub with Russell Myles

Club and SAC Committee Member, Russell is the proud owner of a 1943 Piper L4 Cub.  Along with other Cub owners from all over Europe, he flew to Normandy to commemorate D-Day with a very special gathering and fly-past along the beaches.

Long Haul Cub - Perth to Wickenby and back with Russell Myles

Russell is one of our committee members and one of the keenest aviators we know! 

Throughout his career, he has flown various types of military and commercial aircraft, both fixed-wing and helicopters, and in his spare time, guess what … he likes to fly!

Perth to Cannes, France with Alan Mortimer

In July 2017, Alan Mortimer and his wife, Margaret, undertook a flight from Perth to Cannes, France in a Pioneer 300.

Flying G-BDKH back home after 60 years by Keith Griggs June 2016

In June 2016, some 60 years after G-BDKH first flew from Samaur in France, Keith Griggs and two intrepid friends decided to fly the aircraft back to its place of origin to celebrate its 60th anniversary!
